Broccoli: Sauteed Broccoli


  • 4 stalks of broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • Orange zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Place the oil and garlic into a frying pan, lightly stirring to infuse the oil with the garlic. When the oil has reached the stage of crackling, place the broccoli in the pan, garnish with orange zest and sauté for about 3 minutes. The broccoli should be crisp, but cooked. Remove from pan, add salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
