Potunia

  • Plant Type: Annual
  • Sun: Full Sun
  • Plant Size: 10 to 18 inches tall and wide

These are not your grandmother’s petunias. The Potunia series boasts a bubble-shaped mounding habit and a full canopy of velvety, trumpet-shaped blooms. They last all season, well after other varieties have faded in the summer heat.

Plant Spacing: 12 inches apart.

Secrets to Success »

Plant in fertile soil with good drainage. Potunia varieties require less watering than regular petunias and flowers bounce back after pounding rains. Pinch faded blossoms to encourage blooming all season.

Use »

The mounds, or bubbles, of blooms make this ideal for pots, containers, window boxes and mass planting in landscape beds. Plant alone, in a mass, for sweeping color in the landscape. Perfect for hanging baskets; plant a few in each for stunning color.
